What beautiful language....it make me home sick for my time growing up in Hawaii. Lovely graphic work!

Thank you! :) You grew up in Hawaii?? How was that? It sounds lovely... all sun and sand. :) The phrase on the painting is in Maori. :D

It was a beautiful place to be....also had short stays on some of the other South Pacific islands. Your llanguage is beautiful....I remember the dances of the Maori....I liked living on the islands that didn't have as many people and were more laid back.....miss body surfing! ;)

Oooh... I'm not actually Maori, I've only been living in New Zealand for 4 years. I'm a Malaysian-born Indian-Chinese mix. ;) But I love languages... and I quite like the Maori language. People here are definitely more laid back than most. I was quite surprised when I first arrived here, to see people walking around barefoot down the main street. :D I think it's great. I'm hoping to visit some of the Polynesian islands soon... they are quite close and airfares are quite affordable.

What a fun trip that will be! I lived in the South Pacific so long that coming back to mainland was quite a shock to my system! I still hate shoes, but I must admit I have a bit of the "luau feet" thing going from those years! I don't think they would have the signs "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service" as they do here in the states! ;)

Really? They have those signs in the states??? Gee... that's not fun. Especially for people who are so used to walking around barefoot... :D
