Oooh, this is magnificent. I looked at the red one first, but I think I like this one even better. Love the details and the botanical delicacy!

Thank you so much! The photo is probably a bit too saturated... but close enough to the real thing. It's not very big, about 20cm x 20cm.

Then it's even more detailed than I thought! It's beautiful. Yellows and yellow-greens don't always come through perfectly on my scanner, so if your camera's getting it too saturated that's probably a similar effect. I love the delicate shading on the flowers.

It looks heaps better in real life! :) The strokes look too rough in this photo... and yes the camera is getting it too saturated. I've desaturated it a little in photoshop but it's still too bright, and if I push it any further I'm going to start losing details.

Thanks for the encouragement! :D

I'll bet. I've had some artworks like that, a few of them are around my room at the moment!

Yeah, sometimes there's only so much you can do in altering the photo. It's still gorgeous though and I tend to like the strong saturation.

Awww... thanks! :D Flowers aren't really my favourite subject, but I thought I'd give it a go anyway. Thanks for the encouragement!
